Surviving Dinner: A Month of Meals, Week 4

surviving-dinnerAMOM copyIt’s easy to get into a rut with our family’s meals.  For four weeks I am posting my menu, links to the recipes I use, and hopefully giving you some fresh, new ideas for your kitchen.  These are recipes my family has loved over and over, and I hope they give you some inspiration to try some new things with your family!

This is the final week!  And I made it without any repeats!  I hope you got a few new ideas for your family – and I’d love to hear about it if you’ve tried any of my family’s faves!

Saturday:  WeightWatchers beef & broccoli stir-fry over rice

Sunday:  Dinner at the in-laws’ house.  No cooking for me!

Monday:  healthy baked chicken nuggets, roasted red potatoes, carrots

Tuesday:  Asian turkey meatballs, sautéed zucchini, carrots, & broccoli, rice

Wednesday:  grilled chicken sausage, savory sweet potatoes, salad

Thursday:  chili – no real recipe, just a made-up creation to use up some leftover grilled flank steak in the freezer and some veggies from the fridge.  I always eat my chili over rice.

Friday:  takeout

Under budget – $116.59, which included a bag of dog food!
