Meet Kristina

profile24smallI’ve got a husband, two kids, a job, and personal passions that are frequently sidelined in deference to the other things on this list.  In the busy-ness of working motherhood, life can easily become a series of surviving one season after another.  I’ve come to realize that life is meant to be enjoyed, not just endured; these mothering years are too short to live in survival mode.  I initially started this blog to share my personal successes and failures as I learned how to balance everything while being  joyful & purposeful in my walk through life, and trying to not get overwhelmed & discouraged on “those” days.  But it’s turned into so much more!

I wrote a blog post that goes into a little more detail about Why I Bother.

I am also the founder of Family. Work. Life. Consulting, providing comprehensive lifestyle consulting for working moms through individual life coaching, group events, and tailored workshops.  To get started controlling the crazy in your own life, check out Working Motherhood 101 for some ideas!

I’m so glad you’re here, and I’d love to hear from you.  If you have questions or comments you’d rather not share in the public domain, suggestions for future posts or how I could improve my blog, or if you just want to connect please don’t hesitate to reach out!  Click the email icon in the sidebar or contact me at familyworklife {at} gmail {dot} com.

Together we’ll figure out how to do working motherhood well.

  1. Hi Kristina! I’ve been following your blog a short while now and I enjoy your posts. I was invited to participate in the Writing Process Tour for bloggers and I’d like to invite you! It’s kind of a “chain” of bloggers writing about their blogging process and tagging each other along the way. Email me for more details Thanks, look forward to hearing from you. 🙂

  2. Good morning Kristina! Having a look at your blog and seen that you’re a “full-time wife, full-time mom, and full-time professional”, I suggest you a video (being a mother is an extra adventage) you may find interesting about a mom how is trying to find a job but because she’s a mother she cannot.
Hope that it inspires you as it has done with me!
