Garden Harvest 2013

It’s that time again – let’s track the harvest from our garden, berry bushes & fruit trees!  I’ll also keep track of how much money we save – just for fun!

Check out our harvest totals from 2011 and 2012.

At this point the berry crops look like they will be significantly smaller than last year.  Boo.

On the positive side, last year I tried my hand at canning for the first time.  Despite a rocky start, I fell in love!  We are expecting an even larger crop this year and I’ve got all sorts of stuff I want to try…ketchup, barbecue sauce, spaghetti sauce, salsas…my world will be expanding beyond diced tomatoes and plain sauce.
